Our Gentle Breeze sours are smooth and crushable while capturing the mouthwatering vibrancy of freshly picked fruit. To get the most out of the fruit additions, we layer them on a soft, smooth base, complemented by fruity aroma hops and an acidity that's tart and zippy rather than puckeringly sour. This edition combines both sweet and sour cherries, for a bright and deep flavour.

440ml canbought from Beerfly, Bedford. Deep red and mostly clear. Light black cherry aroma, a touch of oak. Full taste and a very gentle sour, more black cherry. Medium carbonation. Just kind of there, not very engaging but solid enough.

On tap at Sadlers Cat. Pours hazy purple red with a pinkish white head. Aroma is sour cherry, a little white grape, oak, a little sout funk in there. Taste is tart sour cherry with the sweetness taking the edge off the tart cherry,a bit of white grape and dry oak. Nice, light, fruity and refreshing. Decent stuff.

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 13/10/22. Cherry red with a big ole crimson meets pink head. Nose is mellow cherry skins, berry pips, hay bale, cherry yoghurt. Taste comprises tangy berry fruits, damp straw, berry pips, grains, light hedgerow, cherry stones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest pucker. Its okay if all a bit safe, subtle and restrained.
