Intense deep roasted nose. The beer starts creamy dry, slightly sourish with a deep roasted grainy back. Soft, smooth, sessionable velvet. Creamy roasted coffee. Great!

Deep black color and a nice tan head. Nose of roasted malts and black coffee. Tastee follows the nose, faint sweetish finish. Easy drinking.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before October 2024. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty aroma of dark chocolate, lots of coffee, roasted hazelnut and light vanilla. Gently sweet, malty, fairly roasty taste of dark chocolate, massive coffee, roasted hazelnut and traces of vanilla, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Coffee Stout, well-executed.

Insel-Brauerei Coffee Stout, Fläschchen Nr. 06868 von 20.000, aus dem Kalea Craft Beer Advent Calender 2021. - Fast schwarz, blickdicht; dunkelbeigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase starkes dunkles Röstmalz, Kakao, Espresso, Bitterschokolade, Traubenzucker, nur matte Hopfung, ein Anflug von Scheißhaus. - Antrunk stark röstmalzig mit etwas Milchschokolade, dickem Kaffee und vagen herbal-holzigen Zügen. Satte Karamelsüße, feine Kaffeesäure. Gut rezent, vollmundig, weich. Im Abgang leicht säuerlich-bitterschokoladig mit schwacher Asche und unscheinbarer Hopfenherbe. - Sehr kräftig röstmalziges Stout mit starker Kaffeenote, dem jegliche Raffinesse fehlt. (26.2.2022.)
