Bottle at Beermongers - turbid gold - looks like a hefe - a nice hybrid of styles - the lemony tartness and lightness of a Berliner, with a salty, brine-like savoriness not unlike a lambic - a bit of muskiness, dust - subdued but present funk to it - light horse blanket way in the back - complex yet refreshing - I quite like this - 848416

Bottled. A pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of lemons and a bit of brett. The flavor is tart with notes of lemons, straw, and wheat, leading to a tart finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque pale yellow with a rough and quickly dissipating white head. Dry, tart, salty nose - heavily lactic. Light body, heavy carbonation, a discreet underlying fruity sweetness but the lactic acids dominate. Not sure how much the Brett comes through though. Some baking yeast. Well. 141111

11.2 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours all head. Seriously. White, foamy and condensing quickly into a clear yellow liquid. Earthy, musty and citrus aroma. Fairly tart. The taste is similar.. earthy, citrus, musty, something slightly vegetal and faint notes of apricot and olive. Thin-medium bodied. Nice.

Draught, 3.0%. Mild dry aroma, hint of urine. The flavour starts off citric, lactic with a good bread note. Bites a bit and has a few hints of fruit or berries which quickly fade out. Good lactic flavour, slightly dry finish. A flavourful and good beer with a low ABV.

On tap at Birch & Barley, October 2011. Slightly hazy pale greenish-yellow with a minimal white head. Quite a lot of funk in this one, also citrus, wheat and yeast. Light body and refreshing, descent and different stuff.

Draft. Cloudy yellow color, large bubble head. Aroma of sour grapefruit and lemon. Taste starts sweet then turns on you, soft sourness with lots of citrus. Decent.

0,33 l bottle at home. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass very zippy, really nice head. Starts mild, quite fruity like lemon, more and more sourish. Reminds me of a good geuze. Finish less fruity more sour with a soft salty touch. Not too drinkable, but still a very good beer!
