Bottle, 9%. Vinous, liquorice, earth aroma. The flavour is vinous and slightly oxidized. Probably aged. Good but not flavourful enough to justify 9%.

Somewhat murky chestnut brown. Sweet and sugary with a light nuttiness and faint toffee on the nose. Mushroomy taste, lightly toffeeish with hints of brown sugar. Maybe a little bit light for my tastes in this style, water in the finish.

Bottled at European Beer Festival, Copenhagen. Clear dark brown. Bready roasty and dense. Sweet with near full body. Lots of toasty bready, dough and licorice. Low bitterness. Powerful without becoming sticky. Really good!

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep amber to brown with a fully diminished tan head. Aroma is dense breadish and with a mild alcohol presence already in the nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is solid breadish, dark, and with a nice roasted malty note. Lingering roasted finish with a mild fruity touch.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of caramel, medium notes of over ripe fruits, and light notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits, combined with a light roasted note.

Bottle at RBESSG-2006,GTN. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted coffee. Flavour is oak, roasted, coffee, berry, fruit, alcohol.

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Dark brown with reddish notes and a small, beige head. Mocha, chocolate and some coffee in the aroma. The flavor has some burnt notes and alcohol, as well as chockolate and coffee. Full-bodied, and a finish with some alcohol. (060826)

First rating(Bottle on RBESG 2006, though our bottle said 9% not 9.5) Clear brown color, tan head. Fruity and estery sweet scent. Smooth mouth feel. Sweet taste. Low bitterness.6/3/7/3/11=3.0Second rating(50 cl bottle at Wojarski, Göteborg)Labeled "Jakt Porter 8.0" at 8% ABVClear deep red color, small tan head. Sweet raissin and vinous scent. Roasted malt, raissin and sweet malt taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.8/3/7/3/14=3.5

RBESG 2006, Grand Tasting. ABV is 9%. Dark reddish brown colour, moderate tan head. Lovely vinous sweet aroma, plenty of oak, chocolate and a moderate roastiness. Flavour is malty and moderately roasty with rye bread and chocolate notes. Another good Polish (Baltic) porter.

Bottled. Ruby reddish amber colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, plum and malts. Flavour is wineous, quite caramellish and malty. Hides ABV very well. Nice Baltic Porter.
