Can. Pours cloudy dark caramel brown with large of white head. Aroma is malt, grain, lemon and faint orange. Taste is medium to very sweet, light bitter and medium acidic from CO2. Body is oily with sparkling carbonation. Finish is mostly sweet with strange notes of bitterness and hints of low quality pilsner with cheep blood orange juice added to it. Not pleasant

Pours red brown with an orange hue with a brown orange head. Aroma is like a homebrew brown ale (a good one) with additional notes of oranges and perhaps a few christmas spices. malts and hops create an interesting ever so slightly sour-dough'ish aroma, they used rye malts, the aroma reflects this. The beer reminds me of ølfabrikken rye ipa and ølfabrikken brown ale back when skovdahl andersen was the brewer. Surprisingly nice aroma. trip back memory lane. Flavor cannot keep up with the aroma, rye malty base, mild flowery hoppy balance, also some more herbal bitter hoppy balance. hops are not perfect as in the aroma, they are more along the lines of english bitter, while the malts are a bit more sourish, almost citrus fruity notes in there. The bitterness rounds off the beer very well, but far from as well balanced and coherent as in the aroma. soft mouthfeel, pretty good and tasty christmas beer overall.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruits, dried fruits, touch of chocolate and berries. Medium sweetness, bitterness and body. Oily with average carbonation. Quite a dry finish. Enjoyed this more than the others.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear copper colour, small head. Perfumy roasty malt up front. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Lots of boiled vegetables, some stale butter and caramel. Metallic finish. Royal Unibrew style flawed, sloppy stuff.
