22/IX/18 - sample @ Borefts Bierfestival Day 2, BB: n/a - (2018-1406) Thanks to the international Ratebeer crew for sharing today's beers!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of "orangettes" (candied orange peel strips covered in dark chocolate), sweetish sugary impression, chocolate and orange peel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, fruity, bitter, orange peel, very roasted. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, hoppy, dry, hints of candied orange peel, not sweet, very bitter and roasted.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle at Borefts 2018. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, fruity and slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, orange, soft cakes and licorice. Medium sweet, roasty, slightly bitter and quite fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, orange, soft cake and coffee, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Maybe too much orange, but not bad!
