Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, a lot of blackberries (actually black currant even more) with some vanilla. Flavour is chocolate, black currant, some slight vanillla and mild alcohol tones to it.

Can: Poured a black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some chocolate notes and some blackberry notes with light Brandy notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some chocolate notes and quite a bit of blackberry notes with faint brandy notes. Body is about average good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Interesting mix but not sure I would drink this on a regular basis.

--Bottled, from Beerdome. -- Black, firm beige head. Aroma of licorice and dark berries. Mid sweet with full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, dark chocolate and lots of blackberries. Warming mid bitter finish. Pleasant and flavourful, if a bit heavy on blackbetry brandy.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of soft brandy, creamy chocolate, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark fruit, fruity brandy, dark chocolate and oily roasted malts. Fruit brandy barrel has just the right influence. A bright fruity big stout done well.
