Op tap bij Borefts '24. Bleekgele kleur, geen kraag. Komkommer, licht moutig, slap, smaakt niet naar pils en mist basilicum. Lichte body.

21/IX/24 - on tap @ Borefts Day 2, Brouwerij De Molen (Bodegraven), BB: n/a (2024-1050) Thanks to the Brewver crew for sharing today’s beers!
Clear orange blond beer, creamy white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very soapy, very floral, cucumber, some melon and watermelon, faint herbal touch. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: tastes like cucumber up front, soft bitterness, spicy, a bit herbal. Aftertaste: more cucumber, soft bitterness, a bit spicy, dry sourish touch. Decent cucumber beer!

On tap at Borefts 2024. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some herbs on this basil apparently. Very clean light refreshing. Easy drinking. Not much hop. But it's fine. Some bitterness on the finish

--Bottled, from Fanø Bryghus, Fanø. -- Hazy golden, rich firm head. Interesting aroma with evident cucumber and basil. Dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Some grass, plenty of cucumber and basil. The white pepper comes through late. Low bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Remarkable aroma with easily identifiable cucumber and white pepper, along with bready malt and herbal notes including basil. Dry, crisp and clean. Somehow it works, but probably because there's a good beer behind the gimmicks.

Bottle 50 cl. Extremely fizzy pour, hazy pale yellow rough, lacing white head with good retention. Yeaty nose, smells mostly like a Belgian Blonde - odd! Medium body, soft on the palate, lightly sweet malts, then a hard to define spiciness from the three adjuncts, some phenols (?) astringent rather than bitter finish. An odd bird for sure. 170321
