75cl Fles, dank voor het delen Henkie! Iets mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Licht moerassig, redelijk zoete geur, licht hoppig, iets fruitig, licht kruidig, bittere finish. Lichte tot medium body, naar de finish wat dun. Mwah.

Belgian style tripel by this amusing Dutch brewery, thanks Craftmember for sharing. Medium thick, egg-white, stable but eventually breaking head on a hazy peach blonde robe with ochre tinge. Aroma of green pear, white bread dough, dried tarragon, oxidized apple slices, hints of sweetclover, lemongrass, honey and cooked parsnip. Fruity onset, sweetish with hints of pear, peach and pineapple, medium carb - or actually rather soft for the style; rounded, bit fluffy mouthfeel, white-bready maltiness with vague cake- and honey-like edges, ending with spicy notes (tarragon and lemonbalm rather than the usual coriander seed) and a mild grassy hop bitterness with floral and drying effects. The alcohol remains well hidden. Well-crafted tripel with 'deviant' and distinct, but not unpleasant spicing, decent enough.

0.75 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', bottled in May 2022. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of peach, honey, gooseberry, some banana and light clove. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral and quite yeasty-spicy taste of grains, straw, honey, clove, some banana and a touch of peach, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, rather dry finish. Medium to full body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Rather crisp for a Tripel, quite refreshing compared to the classic Belgians. Not bad!
