Dark brown with thin creamy head. Nice aroma with toasted malts. Full flavoured, very malt forward. Very well bodied. Remarkably rich for a low alcohol beer.

330ml bottle, many thanks to Erzengel! Pours black, pale tan head. Aroma has corn-like malt. Fairly light and oily on the palate, taste is light with earthy dark malt, light grain, light cola, light roast. Light and drinkable, just feels a bit lacking.

Bottle. Lots of fruity esters, seem to be coming off the yeast. Moderate sweetness, moderate body, light bitterness, low carbonation. Light grassy flavour. Light roast, lightly astringent. Not bad, but not good either.

Bottle. Black with a medium sized head. Aroma is roasted malts and sugar. Taste is malts and pure sweetness. Chocolate and a little bit liquorice. Low hop profile. Reminds me of a german non-alcoholic Malzbier. Medium carbonation. Watery. Quite ok but too sweet for me.

* Old rating. Best before 08.2010. Bottle still brewed and filled at Bosch/Bad Laasphe. Malty-dry, nicely roasted Schwarzbier. Not too deep, but nice, easy to drink.

330ml bottle. Ruby red glowing, quasi black colour with average, frothy to macro-pored, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge and dark berries, minimally doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is dark malty, some malt sweetness and malt spiciness, a touch of malt lozenge, minimally doughy yeasty overtones; in the finish slightly roasty and metallic. Minimally too sweet and sugary.
