330ml bottle. Ruby red glowing, quasi black colour with average, frothy to macro-pored, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge and dark berries, minimally doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is dark malty, some malt sweetness and malt spiciness, a touch of malt lozenge, minimally doughy yeasty overtones; in the finish slightly roasty and metallic. Minimally too sweet and sugary.

[Thanks to kevnic2008]. Bottle. Black colour with a moderate creamy and quickly diminishing beige head. Aroma is light toasty, notes of raw cereal and slightly ashes. Flavor is light malty, roasted notes and cereal. The finla is moderate roasty with short duration.

Bottle from McTapps - thank you, Sabine! Pours cloudy dark brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of roasted malt and caramel with a touch of coffee. Bitter and roasty onset, giving way to touches of caramel malt, ending bitter again. Slightly metallic aftertaste. High carbonation. An OK Schwarzbier but rather anonymous.

Bottle at Bergmann Kiosk, Dortmund, 28/04/13. Light black with a medium sized tan head. Nose is dark toffee, liqcqourice, ash, mineral notes. Taste comprises toffee, molasses, light roast, brown sugars, touch of liqourice. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty decent schwartz, one of the more flavoursome ones I’ve come across.

Bottle. Pretty chestnut brown with light brown cream. Roasted, light caramelized aroma. Roasted, medium to fullbodied, good residual sweetness, herbal finish. More of a Dunkel really, but a nice one at that,
