bottle, Danke pivnizub! Deep brown colour, large beige head. Malty, lots of roasted malts, shy hints of coffee and bitter chocolate. Slightly hoppy and fruity in the finish.

33cl bottle pours a nice clear amber with copper edges and mocha head. The aroma is softly mineral and metallic with notes of dark fruit esters along with some chocolate and dark roasted malts. The taste is smooth and subtle with some dark fruity esters mixing with light notes of chocolate malts, dark roasted malts and a faint sense of molasses. I’ve been Bergmanned.

Bottled. A deep chest-nut brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe berries and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, berries, and some metal from the alcohol, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

(33cl bottle) Clear, deep mahogany colour with a moderate, beige foamy head. Medium-sweet dark malty nose with light burnt notes and a distinctive touch of chocolate. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dark and roasty leafy taste with notes of chocolate and liquorice; moderately dry and bitter finish that lacks a bit body and length (18.08.08).

Bottle: Chestnut-amber coloured, small, persistent off-white layer; moderate roasted-malty nose, hiding some fruitiness and caramel or molasses; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; faint sourish-fruity traces in the mild, not extremely dry caramelly finish. A well drinkable coal-miner’s refreshment...........
