28/4/2020. Bottle from Mexgrocer. Pours an uninspiring mid-dark brown with minimal head. Aroma is malty, lightly roasted, some dark fruit, bit of burnt brown sugar and chocolate. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Not much body, quite thin, with soft to flat carbonation. Had hoped for better.

For the strength this is remarkably lacking in body and pretty tame flavour wise. It's a decent malty beer with a little chocolate in there but somewhat disappointing on the whole.

33cl bottle pours a clear caramel brown with some white head. Nose has malt, brown sugar, caramel, date, raisin, yeast. Flavor is malt and caramel and brown sugar, some raisins, yeast, pumpernickel. Not quite as sweet as I thought. Not bad. Medium bodied finish. 7 4 7 4 13

Bottle. Pours mrky reddish brown with very small frothy beige head, faint caramel aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet caramelized malt taste, thin body, abrupt finish with little coffee aftertaste. A bit watery, not too good.
