Clear deep brown beer, no head. Aroma: lots of alcohol, paint thinner, chemical, not very pleasant. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very chemical, paint thinner, solvant, soft roast, don't like it… Aftertaste: red fruits and berries, bit chemical, not very good…

Pours black, small rather light colored head. Smell is roasty, but overly intense rum ( grainy booze). Taste is full, roasty, grainy boozy, sweet, rum, not my prefered barrel but a nice beer nevertheless.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Yowzers...big rum tone, squashes the mild mediocre Porter base. Pretty much a Malibu dark. Brutal alcohol tones. Limited finesse. Truly a malt beverage...not a beer. Sugary and thin still. Barrel dominates. Meh, pretty much what I expect from CW.

Sampled at Meridian Pint, pours an oily black, no head, medium legs. Nose has paint thinner at first, wow, heavy anejo rum, molasses, licorice. Flavor is all rum cocktail, some raw cane juice sweetness, anejo rum, some vanilla, agricole too, some treacle. Full bodied, boozy, oily finish. Crazy with rum.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Wauwatosa. Black, Ruby highlights, thin fizzy brown head, poor retention. Aroma of booze, rubbing alcohol, coconut, roast. Taste is roast, vanilla, coconut, booze, raisin. Thin. Kind of a train wreck.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of rum with dark grains, coconut and a bit of of roasted malts underlying. Flavor combines rum and coconut and is supported by roasted malts and dark grains.
