750ml bottle. Opalescent, orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, minimally strawy and grainy, pale malty background, notes of lemon, lemon peel, a minimally waxy touch. Taste is slightly bitter, citrusy fruity and grassy hoppy, slightly spicy, minimally strawy, pale malty basis, hints of lemon, some lemon peel, a touch of salty cracker. Oily-watery texture, smooth, minimally greasy, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Clean, fairly hoppy, nice mouthfeel - hoppy upgrade for an otherwise boring style.

Bottle, that Jonas shared with me (thank you!) - originally courtesy of Pivnizub (so thx Günther as well). Hazy yellow-golden body, white head. Pleasant, pungent herbal-citric hoppy aroma. Minty, herbal, clean hoppy taste, light honeyish maltiness, almost no bitterness. Aged more than gracefully, this is extremely well made - just beautiful!

Tap at Stehbierhalle. Aroma had light peach, chewy malt, biscuit, floral and citric notes. Over the palate came peach, lime, citrus, crisp malt and floral notes. Finished dry with light bitterness.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, slowly collapsing creamy white head, distinctive aroma of exotic fruits (pineapple among others) in the sweet-bitter honeyish- (pale-) malty nose; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, almost oily MF; lingering sweet pale-malty finish with a citrussy bitterness in the aftertaste. Well balanced, moreish “modernized” Export…

0.3 l on tap at 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle'. Hazy, golden with a medium large, slightly creamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral, slightly grassy aroma of lemon peel, fresh grass, pineapple and some honey. Quite sweet, malty, fairly fruity-floral, slightly grassy taste of honey, lemon peel, pineapple and some fresh grass, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really good for the style, probably benefits a lot from being draught.
