Very malty, brown sugar, dark, roasty cereals, light candied cherry. Nice mouth feel, solid carb. Medium hitter, sweet cherry, apple skins, brown sugar and sweet, bready malts. Less Hops than previous years sweeter and more malt forward.

Bottle online from the source. The earliest of the 12 Vintages of Xmas released by Fullers in late 2023. Pours near clear chestnut with an orange tinge, beige foam. Aroma: liquid christmas cake. Big raisin vibe. Caramel, toffee, figs, dates, pretty much the whole cake. Taste: moderate sweet with similar bitterness, similar to aroma, brown sugar, dried & dark fruits. Rich & boozy. Medium body with soft carbonation. For a 22yo beer with a crown cap it's lasted remarkably well.

One of those days at work and the question of, why don't I just drink this thing, I'm not going to be buried with it! And I was supposed to drink this as my 1,000th. Good pour with some lacing so I know it's alive. Gorgeous colour in the glass with a huge nose of toffee and vanilla. The taste is sweet toffee and a huge hit of vanilla, really huge and I love it. Maybe some oxidation, but not enough to cause trouble. Really rich mouthfeel and I can't taste the alcohol. This is really, really good.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Sherry, raisin and oak in the aroma. Sewer. Also sewer in the flavor. Raisin.. Sherry. Candied fruit. Some remaining hopbitterness and toffee. Alcohol. The old age is showing. Still enjoyable.
