2021 vintage. From bottle at at dark night shared tasting in Kristiansund. Dark brown. Diminishing brown head, Fine aroma and taste of American oak, roasted malt, bitter pine, juniper and and Sevilla marmalade. Round mouthfeel.

Can 440ml @ yngwie - Nyttår 2023. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain, vanilla and oak. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long caramel, grain, malty, vanilla and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

NyttårsKYGG 2023. Dark brown coloir with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, roasted malt, bourbon, toffee. Flavor is caramel, roasted malt, coffee, fruit, malt,bourbon, toffe, bread , chocolate, dried fruit, oak, vanilla. Very nice beer.

Bottle. 2022 vintage. A finger-thick light beige head forms over an almost clear dark brown body. Lightly boozy aroma, bourbon-ish, with toffee, roasted malts, some dark chocolate and prunes. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and softly carbonated, with a decent sweetness. Toffee, bourbon, dark chocolate, roasted malts, dark bread crusts and some brown sugar in the flavor. Medium length finish. A nice one indeed, but a bit lacking on complexity. Guess it would've been a bit dull without the barrel ageing. 231231

Thank god they had embla in the bourbon barrel. Made it more easy and fine No overdose of the horrible bourbon stuff. 375 ml bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 9.3%. Very dark reddish brown colour, nearly black. Large to moderate beige head. Aroma of malts, oak, vanilla, bourbon whiskey, a hint of crushed rowanberries. Sweet flavour with distinct notes of malts, oak and bourbon, again a hint of rowanberries. Good beer.
