Bottle. Color: Very dark red copper, mocha head. Aroma: Bourbon, almond, some caramel. Taste: Nice mix of (wheat) malt, caramel, hints of roasted malt, Bourbon, almond, vanilla, oak wood hints. Over moderate sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Dry-ish bittery roasted almond and Bourbon finish. Well balanced. Nice complexity. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Up to now I've only tasted IPA's from Salikatt but this beer proves they brew great other styles too.

8-5-8-4-16 Bottle, #374, three years before bbd. Pours dark, translucent maroon, with a creamy off white head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, with toffee, chocolate, and nutty notes, as well as vanilla and wooden barrels. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, cocoa, muscovado and liquorice, as well as spicy notes, nuts and wooden barrels. Very nice!
