Draft at Billie’s Beer Festival ‘18. Black with no head. Aroma of oak barrel, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, molasses, milk chocolate and fudge. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: lovely, lots of roasted hops, bourbon notes, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, good! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of alcohol, bourbon, dark chocolate, bitter, very roasted. Aftertaste: more bitterness, roasted, coffee touch, sweet malts, alcohol, bourbon, nice!

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small head of beige foam that dissipates. Cacao nib, prune, oak and vanilla aromas. Nose is still pretty boozy as it warms. Smooth and decadent, booze, vanilla oak on the palate. More cacao nib throughout with a dryish finish.

On tap at Grumpys. Pours near black with a creamy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bourbon with sweet dark grains and a hint of chocolate. Flavor has dark chocolate and bourbon with dark grains and earthy coffee underlying.
