A classic Belgian saison. Pale straw in colour with an effervescent dryness. Citrus and floral aromas give way to spicy black and white pepper along with a pleasant thirst-quenching finish.

18/12/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, straw, yeast, light herb, touch of spice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a tart edge. Moderate body, quite oily, prickly carbonation. Pretty decent.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Danlo. A mostly clear brushed gold coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma si nice rustic pale malts, straw, hay, nettle, grass, twist of lemon. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, rustic bready grains, hay, straw, camomile tea, grass, light grains. Palate is semi crisp, light grains, moderate carbonisation. Maybe a little thin. Nice saison.

500ml bottle. Clear pale gold colour, white foam head and aroma of light spice, yeast. Taste is pale malt, fruity, yeasty, straw, herby, with grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Light gusher. Pours clear enough straw gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light soap and spice. Taste is doughy, more soap and spice. Creamy finish. A bit odd.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Mostly clear pale gold with a few lines of rising bubbles. Fairly dense, thin white head. Nose has typically “Belgian” yeasty notes. It’s pretty soapy, in a lavender kind of way. Fairly pungent, without a deal else happening. Taste has a bit of the soapy thing. Comes across a little sweet. Thin on the palate and is quite dry. Fine carbonation. Short finish.
