Bottle at home, köszi Kini! Pours oily jet black with thin head. Nose coffee, cinnamon, rum, spicy chili, an earthy touch. In taste it's sweet upfront, somewhat boozy and full malty. Then it turns to warming spicy chili, there's some coffee, cinnamon and vanilla in there too. Closes with long lasting, strong but not overwhelming chili, has medium body and soft carbo. Banger!

La base de ce Mexicake est déjà une réussite, mais ici, sur sa version barriquée en fût de rhum version 2020 (9 mois dans des rhums de 15 ans d'age nicagaragua et panama) met la barre encore un peu plus haute avec un Rhum respectant totalement la base de l'Imperial Stout tout en lui conférant une dimension complémentaire. Une très belle gourmandise exceptionnellement bien équilibrée. En verre nous sommes sur un noir total sans mousse et quasiment sans effervescence d'ailleurs. Au nez c'est un cocktail très gourmand qui nous attend avec des arômes francs et intense de chocolat, café, piment et rhum. Dès l'attaque les arômes sont denses, intenses, avec un alcool vif à 12,4%. L'équilibre malt/sucre/alcool/amertume est parfait. La deuxième bouche continue sur une belle texture suave et des arômes pleins. L'arrière bouche est sur un alcool un peu plus vif, donnant un bon contraste. Comme la version de base, le piment relève l'ensemble sans être agressif. Le final est cependant un peu moins épicé mais toujours aussi bien équilibré et intense. Une très belle gourmandise.

Tasting @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma color cappuccino media, discretamente persistente. Al naso cioccolata, rum, vaniglia, spezie, leggermente pepata, caffè. In bocca è dolce all'attacco, cioccolatosa, alcolica, con chiusura amara media, lunga, un po' sgraziata. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Il rum le dona morbidità, ma rimangono ancora degli spigoli.

On tap at Draft Craft and Bottles. ...aaaaand I sentence you to... RUM. This is solid Caribbean rum in all aspects, besides voltage. Honestly I find here everything I love about rum and everything I love about imperial stouts with rum being more assertive in here. Actually it's a rum story mostly. What makes it ultimate choice for rum and craft beer lovers. Jackpot

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of chocolate, spicey licorice, caramel, malt, booze and molasses. Taste has sweet rummy raisin, caramel, subtle chili spice, milk chocolate, molasses, brown sugar, booze, sweet cherry and some cinnamon. The aroma is a bit subtle, I would not have thought the flavors were so full. Really great.

Botella 33 Cl en el Gato que bebía cerveza Valladolid 16..01.. 2019 (r15). Lote RM001. Fcpref 13..08..2020Color negro con espuma beige con buena retención. Sabores y aromas predominantes de ron, bastante alicorada al principio en frío parece un auténtico cubalibre. Poco a poco al calentar se notan maltosos tostados con toques especiados notándose algo la canela. Del Chile mulato y chipotle no noto mucho rastro y menos picante, están bastante diluidos con la canela y solo queda unas notas terrosos especiada. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Bastante líquida, se bebe fácil a pesar de sus 11.8 vol. Amantes del ron a disfrutar!!
