Bottle from Schroppfy, thanks! Pale amber color, cloudy. Peach and pear in the aroma. Tart flavor with lemon, canned peach and pear. Metallic and yeasty notes. These Lithuanian beers really are something else. But in a pleasant way.

Bottle from the Polish delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Dark, hazy dirty-amber with no head. I expected worse with a developing sweetness and hint of wheat beer about it.

Bottle in Klaipeda Gastropub, Kiev. Hazy dark brown with reddish tint, small frothy beige head, low carbonation, slightly sweet, spicy caramel taste, smooth body, abrupt finish with little caramel aftertaste. Quite mellow and easy to drink.

SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy red, tan frothy head. Aroma of caramel, cherries, spicy hops, dry leaves. Some smoked cheese far behind. The flavour is similar, fruity with a zesty bitter finish. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Despite the rustic feel to it, it feels quite clean.

50cl bottle got as a gift. Pours hazy caramel brown with an off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with mild fruity notes and hints of wet wood and vanilla. Medium sweet with caramel dominated flavour, light acidity and quite balanced bitterness. On the sweet side, but quite tasty and easy to drink.

Draught. Dark brown colour, quickly diminishing head. Aroma: dark bread, some honey, some strange herb in finish (maybe this is hemp). Soft carbonation. Unusual and good.
