Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - a slightly hazy golden orange. Some carbonation. Nose - funk and flatulence up front then rich stewed apple as well as fresh apple notes. Some sweet spice. Taste - wood, rich apple and wood spice notes. Palate - close to medium bodied, tangy middle and finish. Overall - good stuff.

Pâle, qcq fines bulles sur le rebord.
Arôme est frais sur les pommes, petite note de cask laissant un rétro-nasal boisé, acerbe - chair de pomme.
Palais est sec et bien tannique, ce qui est une caractéristique de la variété Dabinet, avec une fraicheur florale en retrait. Petite note rappelant le whiksy qui donne ce fini 'bone dry'. Fini râpeux acerbe marqué, bien pétillant avec une petite note de cask en fin de bouche, le tout gardant un côté fermier-rustique.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Danlo. A clear mid golden orange coloured pour with a small loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody cider, light tart crip apple, light bar, light oaky notes. Flavour is composed of tart and pithy apple, bark, tannin, dry oaky staves, bark, Palate is uber dry and crisp, tannin, fine carbonation. Good stuff.

5/10/2022. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark golden with a few small bubbles. Aroma is mucky, woody, peat, nut, oak, whiskey. Light sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, low carbonation. Dry peaty finish.Not it’s biggest fan.

Panda at home, thanks to Danlo ... cheers Ed, 03/10/22. Clear golden with a decent enough just off white head that soon thins to a swirl. Nose is apple core, tannins, light funk, straw, apple skins. Taste comprises apple pulp, tannins, funk, barnyard esters, apple skins, orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, big drying close. Solid light funky affair.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Orangey gold colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of whisky cask, peaty, phenolic, apple, fruity. Taste is tangy, slightly tart, apple, fleshy, with whisky barrel, peat, oak, woody funk notes, then fruity, and some drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, earthy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
