11/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear straw gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, wheaty, grass, light tropical and stone fruits. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. A nice refresher.

1/3 pint, cask at Trent Bridge Inn (JDW). Shared with Finn. Fragile off-white head to a clear amber body, spotty lacing. Moderate malt-fruity nose. Fine blended taste of ripe citrus and bread-like malts. A bitter twist to a malt-fruity finish. Satisfying. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Wetherspoon 2022 Autumn Beer Festival Ale. Dark amber with a creamy head. Its citrus is mild but its earthy-rich malts come to the fore to give the brew a pleasant autumnal warmth. At 4.3% for this run of the ale.

Cask at Bull & Stirrup, Chester Pours a reddish brown with a strong cream head. Strong but not overpowering aroma of toffee and malt. In the mouth there is an initial sharpness with lemon and ginger, mellowing to smooth creamy malts. Lingering ginger and malty finish. Quite nice, but not exceptional.
