Bottel. Deep dark brown color. Almost opague. Licorice, malt and ash in the aroma. Malty sweet, almost sugary flavor with a soft roast character. Licorice. Velvety mouthfeel. Good, delicious even, but somewhat lacking in complexity.

Bottle, 8%. Dusty and papery aroma, slightly fruity. Almost black colour, seems clear, hint of red. The flavour is nicely creamy and dusty. Good roasted flavour, salty and sweet. Creamed coffee aftertaste. Flavourful, but well-balanced.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts strong and malty, quite smokey. Some fruity hints of berries. Finish more dry, still quite smokey. Interesting.
