330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Off-white head reduced to a few patches leaving spotty lacing on the glass, deep mahogany coloured body. Nicely roasted grainy caramel on the nose. Carefully balanced flavours of bread, dried fruits, and caramel. Lightly roasted bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Repeatable. (Tromsø 13.05.2021).

Bottle from DSG, thanks! Dark amber color. Caramel and licorice in the aroma. Salt, malt and licorice in the flavor. Sweetish, almost medium bodied. Salty aftertaste with caramel. Not too bad.

Bottle from the lovely lovely brewery in Taybeh. Much darker than a traditional amber but now I see it is actually an altbier (confusing labeling). Very dark flavouring, quite smoked and stouty at times. Not bad. Bottle from brewery again. 2.8 to 3 Less stouty and more sort of aley, or altbiery. Humble flavour

Pour from a bottle @ BeerFes Yokohama, September 17th, 2017. Pours copper, quite clear. Nose has some caramel, light roast. Taste is sweetish, light caramelly roast, burnt sugar. Simple amber that drinks smooth but maybe too sweet and too generic for me.

Fra flaske på DØE ølfestival, Lokomotivværkstedet mai-17: klar gylden, kort skum. Dufter og smaker grønne epler og druer. Slappe saker, særlig tatt i betraktning det enorme tilbudet av gode øl på festivalen. Utterly forgettable.

330 ml bottle, bottled 05/09/16, from a trade with zvsn, thanks!
Copper, clear body, with a big, fluffy, moderately lacing, slightly beige head.
Aroma of caramel, bread, toast, some dried fruits, some flowers.
Tastes of caramel, grains, corn, bread, some toast, some sweet fruits.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, floral, bready, a bit toasty.
Good. Better than expected, especially the nose is quite good, with nice sweet and toasty notes. Taste is a bit flat compared, but also OK. Overall nothing special, but a solid enough style example.
