thick black pour, huge tan head. Big aromas of bitter bakers chocolate, roasted/burnt coffee, and hints of vanilla. Flavour is very full bodied, big roasty notes, and some soy sauce. EXcellent stout.

Bottle from Secret summer santa. Almost black and opague. Pours a huge head. Roast, coffee and dark chocolate in the aroma and flavor. Just a bit creamy mouthfeel. Cappuccino and ash in the aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, well balanced beer.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark tan head that lingered and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dryish with coffee, wood and smoke. The flavor was semi dry with wood, brewed coffee, a bit of roasty malts, cream and a hint of smoke. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Fairly well made but not my style.

Opaque black pour with a tall, creamy, long lasting tan head. Coffee, cocoa, dark roast malts in the aroma. Sweet and roasty flavor. Some licorice in the finish. Bitterness is minimal. Smooth body, creamy.

22oz bottle pours a watery, opaque black with some clumping beige head. Nose is chalky, dark chocolate. Flavor of chocolate, malts, bread, more chalk. Medium bodied, chalky finish. Very heavy carbonation detracts from the experience as well.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye, labeled "Buckeye Mammoth Stout-Foreign Stout". Pours with a tan head and a black body. Aroma of cinnamon, chocolate, coffee, bread and raisins. Taste is coffee, light lactic, and bread. Light carbonation.

Somewhat dull and flat. Very dark brown colour. There’s sort of a burnt toffee note to this, but also some inappropriate phenols. It’s extra roasty and astringent with a hint of soy sauce. It’s big, but has little going for it. No real complexity, and the flavours and aromas do not correspond with any foreign stout I’ve ever had.

Bottle Pours out a nice black topped with a tan head. Aroma of sweet roast and some light coffee. Tast of rich malts, bitter chocolate and some coffee. Not to bad.

Bottle: Black with a large, fluffy beige head. Nose is sweet and roasty. Tastes heavy in the roasted malt with a bit of coffee and some tobacco notes. Some bitters. Nice lacing and a creamy feel. Thanks for the Buckeye brew from BuckeyeBoy!

Bomber. Pour is a thick and dark brown with about three fingers of tan head. Aromas are chocolate and burnt malt with a touch of whisky or anise and charcoal. Flavor is excellent… don’t get me wrong, if you want a big, huge, gigantic imperial stout with tons of alcoholic burn, this isn’t it. Still, it is full-flavored and well-balanced as all of the suspects who presented themselves in the nose are in their full glory in the flavor.
