Bottled, thanks Baggio! Very dark brown, creamy head. There are dough, hay and licorice. It’s sweet and soft. The lovely chewy yet cottony doughy malt makes it superbly drinkable. The salty licorice lingers well into the lingering bitter finish. I love it!

Bottle, thx to Ole_R..(Vintage Porter 2008) An unclear ruby beer with a big, tan, lasting head. Chocolate, roasted and burnt malt, and some coffee, dried fruits and sugar in the aroma. The flavor is sugary and roasted, with chocolate, cocoa, prunes and a hoppy bitterness. Full-bodied and well-carbonated, quite sweetish in the mouth. A bit warming too, but not much. Lasting coffee-bitter finish. A nice and easy drinkable beer, but maybe a bit sweet. (080708)

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt - lending it a slight acidity, but also with hints of smoke. The flavor is both has sweet and hard roasted malt notes - again the hard roasted malt lends it a slight acidity, while the alcohol tickles the tongue slightly, before a very dry and slightly roasted finish sets in.

Bottle @ home.Clear dark black color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily - smooth, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Bottle at ÅBF08. Good fruity and roasted aroma, slightly sweet. Very high bitterness, some of it from the barley, but still nice. The flavour is sweet and creamy. Roasted aftertaste and also quite fruity.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a fine, creamy light brown head. Aroma of alcohol and vanilla. Medium in body with plenty of hard roasted malts and a very distinct almost crude bitternes both from malts and hops. Quite boozy, obviously bottom fermented hence there’s no fruit to hide the alcohol burn. This comes out somehow raw and unrefined. 030608

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown black with a redish glare and a lacing tan head. Roasted and chocolate malt aroma. Flavour is hoppy and roasted in a nice mix. Slight creamy mouthfeel. Sharp bitter and roasted finish yet nicely balanced.
