This beer is made with oats and plenty of noble hops. Fermented using a mixed culture and conditioned in stainless steel. The Brettanomyces plays with the hop character to create a lively, floral aroma. This beer will pick up complexity over time.

375 ml bottle, vintage 2021, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 5.7%. Slightly hazy and very pale straw colour, small white head. Aroma of brettanomyces and "spicy" Belgian yeast, hints of fermenting pears and other fermenting fruits. Moderately sour and "spicy" flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, some citrus. Refreshing.

Bottle, online from the source. Pours clear-ish pale golden with a white cap. Aroma: pale grains, white wine barrel, vague citrus, oak, floral, light brett character. Taste: light tart, light sweet & bitter, semi-dry, light funky, citrus, straw. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Nice enough but lacks depth of flavour.
