Beluga is a bold, roasted Russian Imperial Stout. Complex and luxurious, we get the requisite chocolate and coffee flavours, but enriched with subtle hints of leather and dried fruits. Take your time to savour this beer, as it needs rumination, and it might just provoke deeper contemplation.

We occasionally barrel-age this beer to add heaps of character.

The Bruichladdich barrels provide[s] interesting aromas of peat, grenadine and dates.

Can shared at the brewpub. Nem készítettem jegyzeteket, csak pontoztam a sört.

33cl Blik. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Zoete geturfde whisky, redelijk fruitig en zoet, caramel, wat gebrande mout, vanille, hout, licht boozy, redelijk bitter. Medium body. Had hier meer van verwacht, vond het een vrij zoete variant, maar kan ook zijn omdat deze aan het eind van de avond na aardig wat bieren genuttigd werd.

Pours an almost black colour and a small light brown head with hardly any retention. Aroma's: roasty, umami, light peat, a bit dark chocolate. Retronasal: light sweet, a bit peaty and iodine, drop (Italianos), umami, roasty. Flavour is light moderate sweet, drop, dark chocolate, figs. Medium bodied. Fair carbonation. Long finish with roast, some ash, burnt rubber, light bitter. I wouldn't mind a bit more peat, but it's good anyways.

Can. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, peat. dark chocolate. Taste: Dark roasted malt, peat, vanilla. Light fuity hints of dark and red fruit and salty hints. Dry-ish and bit creamy mouthfeel. Lightly boozy, subtle Whisky notes. Over moderate to medium sweetness and moderate to over moderate bitterness. Full body, soft carbonation. Long lasting roasty and lightly peaty dry-ish finish. Very nice, well balanced in between base beer and barrel.
