We love a classy barrel, and we really just wanted to let the barrel be the star of the show for this beer. Clean, simple, but loaded with flavor. Cocoa, whiskey, vanilla, rye. Classy beer for classy Cycle fans.

Draught. Black. Rye whiskey, chocolate, vanilla, fudge, sweet, some alcohol, full-bodied.
So much chocolate and rye. Medium light bodied, delish.

Bottle. Pours inky black, small brown head, some lacing. Aroma is rich fudge, whiskey, vanilla, oak tannin, molsses. Flavor is quite sweet, medium light bitter. Full body, rich and thick.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is full, intense bourbon, juicy chocolate, rather stout-forward. BW aspect is hidden, but it presents traces of dark fruit indeed. Taste is super smooth, caramel, dark fruits, intense, bit boozy, raisins and dades. Very complex. Milder than the nose on the bourbon, bit gingerbread. Pretty awesome !

Draught Shortlived tan head, reduced to rim over jet-black beer. Chocolate, vanilla, young oak, sweet roast. Bitterish over mainly sweet roast, with some (cigarette)ash. Something of meatroast, but even more Chocotoff , mocha. Very well-bodied, furious alcoholheat and soft -burn; sticky, viscous. Soft carbonation. Sweet, but not cloying, pastry stout in the (more than) acceptable way.

Konstigt

On tap at Bishops Arms - Malm (Gustav Adolfs Torg), pours black with a tiny head. Aroma brings out intense spicy rye, cocoa, bourbon barrels, and light caramel. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense chocolate, lots of spicy rye, and big bourbon barrels. Intense chocolate, spicy rye finish, with a very viscous mouthfeel. Very tasty.

200ml shared with Brian, Ryan, and Phill during MBW 2023. Not very impressed, weird.
