Brewed as our final batch of 2020, Bound By Dust features a grain bill brimming with the best English, German, Belgian, and American malt available. After a sixteen month long rest in high-rye bourbon barrels, this tremendous stout delivers robust notes of German chocolate cake, baking spices, toasted caramel, and figs.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Strong Bourbon aroma with dark malt, chocolate, alcohol, some vanilla. Chocolate syrup, more bourbon throughout. Medium sweet, thick sticky feel/body. Rich, wonderful.

Bottle. Black. Sweet bourbon, sweet caramel malts, earthy roasted notes, licorice, rye bread, fresh bread crust, vanilla, brandy. Quite sweet and boozy bitter. Full bodied. Good!

Tap at Biererei. Black, small macchiato head. Fig, malty berry sour roasted chocolate coffee, vanilla tonka tobacco. Oily, quite heavy, full body, boozy chocolate, sandy, cinnamon warm burn.

Full, chewy yet creamy body, lightly sticky. cherry pits /almond, sweet vanilla, cinnamon, dark boozy chocolate mousse finish. On tap at Jackie O's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a decent bourbon barrel character, with light vanilla undertones. Flavour is rich and decadent, with an impressive bourbon barrel depth, heavy sweet burnt sugars, light-to-medium roast, and a hint of vanilla undertones from the barrel. Beautifully barrel aged, with everything staying clean. It's a little too sweet for me, but yeah, this is damn tasty.
