Dark brown. Cocoa, chestnuts, creamy malts, light earthy and roasty but overall more deep caramel and toffee with a hint of chocolate. Pruneau. Over medium sweet, light bitter and a soft tart finish. Full bodied. Nice.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at Boxcar Brewery & Taproom. Off-white head, black in the glass, clingy lacing. Well roasted dark malty aromas, chocolate-fruity, promising. Comprehensive flavoured with dried fruits, dark berries, earth, and cocoa. Smoothly roasted ending, warming down the swallow. A fine nightcap sipper. (Bethnal Green, London 09.02.2023).

Keg at the Craft beer shop, Little Chalfont, Bucks. A very dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top which didn't stay long. Roasty, malty, caramel, dark fruit, chocolate taste and aroma. Rich, quite thick slightly sweet and very drinkable indeed. Wouldn't call this a mild but it was still a top draw beverage.

Delt med Rune. Svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Kakaoaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken plommer, lakris. Tørket frukt. Tørr - lett alkoholisk - avslutning. Mild-begrepet er kanskje trukket litt langt - men utmerket øl.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Dark brown body with ruby highlights and a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisins, blackcurrant, Black Forest gateaux and prunes. Flavour of chocolate cake and earth. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Rich and light at the same time. Sublime.

Opaque beer, think tan head which fizzes away. Smells malty, with a dash of chocolate. Flavour has toasty malt, a little chocolate, a little fruit, something a little bready/cakey. Nice balance, rich body, this is very good indeed and manages to be a big punchy beer while still feeling like a mild.

Light brown collar in a dark brown body. Vinous & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & thinning out to a cloying back. Blueberry, malt, raspberry & tangy tastes with a herbal finish.

Can shared in London - cheers to Kenny. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, rich toasted brown bread, a little cocoa, soft roast, earth, dried berries. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more cocoa, rich brown bread. Tasty stuff.

Can. Thanks to me. Clear dark brown beer, good tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a decent creamy sweetness, soft mild dark chocolate. Modest earthiness. Plummy fruits and some Mellow quad like esters. Smooth finish. Nice. Does what it says on the tin, a mild but ramped up a bit.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours clear dark brown with a small light tan head. The aroma is sweet, candy sugar, caramel, liquorice, dark fruits, plum, prune, raisin, cherry cola and Dr Pepper. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, roasty, toasty, plenty of dried fruits, figgy pudding, plum, prune, raisin, cola cubes, Dr pepper, cola, cola cubes, fruit cake and a kick of boozy warmth with a tangy dark fruits finish. Medium+ body and fine to moderate carbonation. Wouldn't call it a mild exactly, but it's rather nice.
