Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light to mid-yellow/gold and hazy as they come. Small trace of white head. Intense hop aroma: citrus pith, tropical fruits, green onions. Dank taste with sugared fruits leading to a more bitter finish. Aftertaste of bitter oranges and some persimmon. Surprisingly light body with heavy carbonation to lift it. A mixed bag but overall quite delicious.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Trubtastic orange gold. Slim sticky white head. Gummy and fruity. Sweet oaty backdrop. Some expected sweetness up front with pithy citrus bitterness. Pretty dry with fine brisk carbonation. Pithy dry finish. Not bad. Bit too dry overall for me.
