Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. A darkest brown with reddish edges in the glass, one finger pale beige head. Chocolate berryfruity aroma with toasted malt. Taste starts with intensive malt, roasty, chocolate, dry. Dark fruity elements in the background. Smooth and creamy at the palate. Below average carbonated. Nice one.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark black, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy chocolate notes, hints of wood, some coffee. Mild smoothie-malty finish. Well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Monday 24th September 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grants New Music Fix on 6 Music, we had Beef Metballs with a Tomato, Cardomom and Lime Sauce. Pours dark brown, malty and chocolate on the nose, this also shows in the mouth along with some liquorice, caramel and a touch of coffee. Fine

Weich herber, weich schokoladiger Beginn. Deutlicher wird die Herbe im Mittelteil, moderat röstig, hohe Süffigkeit. Weicher, dunkel getreidiger Malzabgang, lange anhaltend. Gut. 9/12/11/11/8/11

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before April 2024. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty and slightly bitter taste of dark chocolate, coffee, roasted grains and roasted nuts, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Solid stout.
