Ridiculously hazy, super pale golden coloured body with a slight ghostly white glow, all about 95 per cent opaque, with a thinnish, one centimetre tall, oily head that tops the beer, but fades fast! Aroma of oranges, tangerines, flowers, soft sugars, light malt and a good deal of hop bitterness from the alpha acids, in the nose, at least. Medium-bodied; Rich malts show at first with a touch of melons and tropical fruits, but then the hops hit immediately afterwards, with a nice crisp, floral and grassy note, before some tangerine and kumquat notes hit and provide some complexity. Aftertaste is very crisp and dry with the fruits all around and providing a nice complexity, but the malt and especially the hops do the heavy lifting here and give this the structure it needs for the long-haul. Overall, a very nice, elegant and complex New England IPA - nowhere close to Imperial Status of course, but robust and very enjoyable. As my first from this brewery, I'll be looking for others in the near term! Great to have, especially super fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Dominion Beer and Wine in Falls Church, Virginia on 28-September-2021 for US$4,99 with the tagline 'Corncob TV', canned on 24-August-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-October-2021.

16oz can pours a pulpy orange with two fingers of frothy white head. Nose has orange, mango, melon, flowers, the things you want. Flavor leads with then mango and then melon and pineapple, finishes with orange and clear tangerine now. Fruity finish, nearly full bodied. Easy drinker even at 7.5%.

Juicy, hopped all to hell and back, with heavy doses of grapefruit, berry, lemon zest, white grape, and stone fruit. Underlined by chive and a mineral bitterness. Modest astringency begins to peek through as the pint disappears. Good, but damned if the hop burn ain't a bummer.
