Amber with a frothy, white head. Corn, bubblegum and cherry aroma—all of it faint. Taste is mildly bitter. A touch watery at the end, lingering corn and honey. Not bad. Probably happy just to drink anything other than lake water after exiting the BWCA.

An apricot Amber color which is dark for A cream ale. Aromas are malty and perfumy which are again uncharacteristic for a cream ale. Flavors are malty and sweet with enough carbon ation to cut through the sweet. OK body and Finish.

12 oz can purchased at Lunds & Byerlys Wines & Spirits in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The pour is clear golden orange with visible carbonation bubbles and a well formed one inch white head. The aroma is soft malt, caramel and corn, along with a hint of grass. The taste is the malt, softly sweet caramel, bit of vegetal corn, and the grass character dries out the finish. The plate is light to medium bodied, action carbonation and a clean dryish finish. Solid Cream Ale, certainly could be a gateway from macro lagers.
