This Northwest take on a New England style IPA is easy drinking and fluffy just as the name suggest. It starts with a big orange juice and apricot character on the nose following through on the palate with notes of mango and pineapple. This lends perfectly to the smoothie-like mouth feel and body. Though full of fruit character it finishes with enough of a bite to remind you that it’s a beer from the west coast. Even with this style seeming to be all the rage right now, we think its all fluff.

473ml can. Pours a murky gold orange with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, pineapple, peach, mango, earthy yeast and light piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, papaya, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a soft, creamy, smooth texture and average to soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

Can with illegible date, drunk 8/3/17.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, peach-tan. Large, off-white head showing great retention.
Pretty much spot-on mango-lime mix of yeast and fruity-juicy hop. Leafy, light, green pine without too much resin. Smells very much like Mystic; lots of "sweet", heavily fruity yeast and pine-accented, fruity hops. Tons of bubble gum emerges with warming, carrying through to the very fruity, resin and alcohol-free finish.
In the mouth it's soft and sweet with tons of bubble gum, mango and light pine. Kind of more C-hoppy than necessary for the "style" adding lots of pine and orange, although it's low on resin and still not very bitter. The problem is, it's just all yeast and malt for it's sweetness, with no juiciness or tropical fruit from the hops. Soft, "thick" texture with engaging carbonation.

16 oz. can. Flavor is candied oranges, sweet grain, pulpy mango, old peach skins. Overall, it is entirely to sweet. Where are the hops? "New England IPA"?? TOOOO sweet, not enough juice, no balance. Nope.

Very soft and light haze juice. Hop notes blend quickly into orange juice and mango.

It's a pretty good fresh hop IPA although I don't get very much of the juicy citrusy qualities.

Can from Brewmaster's Taproom. Rating #6868! Hazy golden-orange with a wispy head. Orange juice, some stone and tropical fruit, little bit of grass, and some pine. Fairly sweet, soft, clean, and easy drinking. All fluff seems about right.

Cloudy, medium head, muddy yellow. On the nose, more of a dank/woody hop character. Has a well-balanced sweet malt, lots of wood, touch of citrus and dank...a little bit of everything.
