Old rating - 330ml bottle from Libeerdade 2 years ago & stored in my cellar since, it pours a dark hazy orange with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, lemon, plums, honey, grass & sweet malt. Medium body & carbonation. Sweet slightly bitter finish. Enjoyable

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE Nov 2017, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20170715) The beer poured deep golden and almost clear. Its head was huge, white and it lasted long. Aroma had Belgian style yeast, honey and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, honey, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A clean Belgian style brew approaching a tripel.

Keg at Cerveteca Lisboa. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a thick white head. The aroma is bready, loads of green banana, candy, melon, greengage, cactus, cereal and bread. The taste is dry, some bitterness, white bread, toasty grain, cereal, green, banana, touch of pear drops, apple, dried fruits, spice and some alcohol heat with a dry and warming finish. Medium + body and moderate carbonation. A touch green perhaps, but not bad overall.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 25C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L192FO (BBF OUT 2017). AROMA: medium alcohol aroma with a lacquer character, followed by medium-low pears and low cereal husk. medium slightly sweet neutral malt background. APPEARANCE: gold color and cristal clear. large white head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium yeast flavor, followed by medium lacquer alcohol notes, faint cereal husk notes. no esters detected. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. cereal husk astringency. OVERALL: a golden belgian strong ale with a bit too much yeast notes.
