Rapunzel is a strong, dry Belgian style blond, brewed with Pilsner, Wheat and Cara malt to produce a light golden beer. We have spiced the beer with orange peel, chamomile flowers and coriander to produce a fruity, floral and spicy beer.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.1%. Slightly hazy deep golden to orange colour, small white head. Strong sweetish aroma of kandij sugar syrup, Belgian ale yeast, caramel and dark dried fruits, hints of spices. The flavour is distinctly spicy, and not as sweet as I feared. Notes of cinnamon, chamomile, nutmeg, cardamom and coriander seeds. Herbal hops in the finish. Unusual, and quite good.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie. Hazed blonde with large white head. Has a creamy almond touch to it, nicely sweet, yeasty.. decent Belgian style blond overall.

Crey off white head on an amber coloured body. Bubble gum, yeast & dull fruited aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a dry back. Basil, herbal, bitter, grain & cumin tastes. I'm starting to think Tartarus are losing the plot.

250ml on tap at Message in a Bottle. Shared with Finn. Hazy orange coloured body, upper part lacing, dotted spots on the glass. Modest smell of yeasty fruits and some spices. Soapy hops to the taste profile, moments of yeast and fruit. Spiced fruity tail. Unbalanced, but quite drinkable. (Cleethorpes 15.10.2022).

Keg at Brewdog 7 Dials, 29/06/22. Golden pour with a white cap. Nose is stewed fruits, yeast esters, herb, glue. Taste comprises tarte fruits, nutty, hedgerow, yeast esters, light spice, stewed fruits, dusty grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable affair ... rather disjointed.
