We brewed this beer in collaboration with Hollands Hophuis - a Dutch hop supplier that specialises in European hops. They make hop products with a process similar to cryo - the lupulin is thus more concentrated and a very clean aroma and taste are created. We chose a fairly new Slovenian hop variety for this beer - the Cardinal. It has a very fruity citrus aroma with multi fruit juice flavour. So this is an all European NEIPA on a base of wheat.

21/IV/23 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 16/VIII/23 L358A 10:58:46 (2023-338)

Cloudy pale beige yellow beer, creamy irregular solid off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: funky, a bit smoky, chemical, some phenols, nail polish, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good bitterness, fruity, some citrus, tropical fruits, nice, dry, a bit herbal. Aftertaste: more citrus, fruity, juicy, good bitterness, lovely stuff, subtle, but very nice!

Leicht gewürziger, hell hopfiger Beginn. Etwas Pfirsich, mild hefig, weich. Frisch hopfig bleibend, moderat bitter, spritzig. Weich hopfig-würziger Abgang, leichte Süße, langer bitter-hopfiger Nachgeschmack. Gut! 12/11/12/12/9/12

On tap @ Biradiski, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of wheat, yeast, citrus, clove and flowers. Pours clear pale golden color with thin creamy white head, good lacing and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy and yeasty, following is bready, grassy and and peppery, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Not so hairy and greasy as a dormouse :)

Can, Bevog web shop. Clear golden yellow, larger and lasting white head. Nice fruity nose, citrusy, lemongrass and fresh grass. Moderate bitterness, hints of sweetness, rgassy and pepepry finish. Lasting, gentle aftertaste. Light. Simple, drinkable, good.

Tap at CBF Wien. Yellow, medium hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head. Aroma of lemon, apricot, grass, subtle pine, wheat, honey. Tastes similar. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes smooth, medium sweet, light bitter, medium dry, citric, grassy, a bit piney. Very nice. More on the sweet side, with a quite full, wheaty body, but drinks very fresh, with lovely lemon fruit notes. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15
