Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear gold with a moderate foamy white head. Aroma seems citrus and bread. Med body or so. Flavor is bread and citrus with a grass note. Dry. Lightly bitter.

12fl. oz. bottle from Total Wine & More, Laguna Hills.It's a strange world when I can sit in Southern California drinking a traditional German Kölsch style bier that's been brewed in Mexico and no one bats an eyelid. 3rd July 2023 being the date. This is a little darker than usual, still golden, bright, clean and clear with a fast fading white crown. Grainy front to the aroma and taste, mini citrus leanings, decent enough.

Bit unclear, golden colored, medium white head, OK lasting. Aroma is malty, light grain, fruity esters, bit apple. Taste is medium to light sweet malt, some grains, light fruity esters, some apple notes, light bready finish, light bitterness. Light+ bodied, average carbonation, bit watery. OK.

Pour is a clear golden with a smallish white head. Aroma is sweet grain with some maybe a little burning at first but that goes away quickly. Flavor is more of a sweeter malt with some sulfur aftertaste. It's easy to drink on a hot day so I'll give it that. After that, it is pretty sweet and is a bit thick for a kolsch.
