(Key cask at Pikkulintu Myyrmäki, 20231003) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grapefruit, citrus fruits and spiciness. Palate was grapefruit, floralness, spiciness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, spicy and bitter. A tasty hoppy brew with good bitter finish.

Cloudy yellow-gold with a frothy white head and a soft fruity aroma. Nice and crisp, soft fruit and light malt with just a hint of bitterness

A hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy British hops, light fruity esters, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy British hops, light mineral notes, light cereals, pleasant. On tap at Refectory MCR location.

Keg draught at the Eagle & Child, York. Light golden and hazy, a little bit of white head which leaves lacing down the glass. Decent citrus aroma, it’s got that orange/grapefruit aroma with a bit of malt backbone that so many passable yet mundane ‘craft’ pales have, but it’s a little bit more authentic and enticing. Sweet taste, more grapefruit, with tiny drops of hop bitterness breadcrumbing you toward the short finish. Watery body with soft to medium carbonation. Good for the style but I wanted NM to bring a bit more to the table character-wise.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 29 May 2022) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit, white bread and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with lemon, orange, pineapple, grass, white bread and amild citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and tasty, highly drinkable. Nice one.

14/VIII/22 - on tap, shared @ Bar Beenhouwer (Gent), BB: n/a (2022-997)
Clear blond beer, small creamy off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: a little fruity, a bit juicy, not much else, very faint smell... MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: a little watery, grains, malty, some caramel, fruity notes, decent beer but rather watery. Aftertaste: some oranges, good, a bit watery, not bitter at all, more sourish, infected? Pretty watery and faint, a bit disappointing.
