Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2022, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rustic saison yeast, rosehips and earth twiggy notes. Flavour is full of earthy, woody, tree branches, lots of wild yeast, and oak. Then the apples come in subtly. Excellent.
Earlier Rating: 4/3/2022 Total Score: 4.2
On tap at Garden Path, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has an exquisite yeast profile, with light wild apple skins and a touch of rosehips. Flavour is complex and elegant, with a deep wild yeast profile, incorporated wonderfully with the apple skins, and a hint of rosehips. Buggy and wild in all the best ways. Wonderful.
