Very dry. Earth, dirt. Some brett, surprisingly. A little cloudy. I am not sure if the brett should be there. Medium palate, but this is a dry beer.

16.9oz bottle-pours a big foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is plenty of medium malt, citrus-lemon hops. Then becomes musty/earthy. Taste is plenty of medium malt/wheat-caramel, pine/earthy/spicy/citrus-lemon hops. Medium body. OK carbonation. Nice English/American IPA blend. Thanks to jwc215(BA) for sharing.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange with a dense and slowly diminishing tan head. Extremely inviting hoppy and caramel malt aroma, light yeasty note too - lovely! Flavour is classic hops dry with a mild fruity note towards a light wooden note. Has a mild liqourice bite too. Medium dry caramel malt base. Goes into a light bitter finish with a mellow yeasty note. Fantastic inviting aroma while the flavour is a bit so and so.

Unclear dark amber with huge beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of hops, caramel and grapefruit. Flavor likewise with a solid bitter end. Creamy mouthfeel.

0,5 lt Bottle thanks to KnutAlbert. My second beer from Haandbryggerietan IPA. Not that bitter with some sweetness. Yeast and malt are very well balanced. Very flowery aroma and taste. Mild hoppiness and hints of spices are also present. I really enjoyed this one.

Super deep and hazy amber coloured body with brown highlights and a very dense tan head - looks perfect for the style! Aroma of fresh, clean malt, a small set of caramalised sugars, apricots and some dry hops - nothing too potent at all. Full-bodied; Deep yeastie and malt flavour almost like a belgian dubbel or tripel with fading hops up front. After that a bit of effervescence settles in along with some alcohol and metal. Aftertaste shows some complexity with a bit of grapefruity hops, some nuts and a tiny bit of fruits. Overall, a good IPA - not a ’true’ US styled beer, but this isn’t from the USA. Good, but a bit lacking in each of the characteristics - definitely worth trying if you can find it though. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from West LakeView Liquors in Chicago, Illinois on 30-January-2008.

Hazy dark amber color with red shades; the head is really too much (strange). Aroma of English hop. Medium dry mouthfeel, some malt and caramel flavor, quite strong bitterness, later some sweetness comes out too. A bit too much yeast in the end. An English style IPA, just more bitter than the average. Not much aromatic. Pleasant.

Bottled (brewed 02/2006, batch #25)
Nutty-orange brown color, not much head. Very dark bread hoppy nose (Finnish dark Easter bread), hints of fruits. In the bottom of this bottle is so much yeast, that I didn’t pour all of them into glass (like I usually do). Bready-hoppy, soft American style IPA. Not very exicting, but well-brewed.

Pours a hazy dark amber into a shaker. Fluffy medium sized head craters and chunks as it laces and recedes. Sour earth aromas. Sour, bitter, bubbly dirt.
