500 ml bottle. Pours unclear amber with a foamy head. Nuts, citrus, caramel, bit estery and some clove. Dry mild zesty bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty malty bittersweet finish. Not the biggest fan of these light-colored Dunkel beers, but this one is quite okay.

On tap at Brauereigastatte Post Keller, Mittenwald, Friday 26th May 2023 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours chestnut brown with excellent clarity and an off white sticky head, some sweet malts, light fruity, pleasant.

0,5 l bottle as Mittenwald Dunkel. New label. Clear copper in the glass, nearly two finger pale beige head. Smells low malty. Tastes decent malty, some hop in the background. Some Blockmalz in the aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Bottle, Gröbl Alm Mittenwald. Just a hint of chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet. Roast and lots of chocolate in the flavor. Maybe a touch of hops lingering on? Pleasant easy drinker.

Aroma is honey caramellized almond lots of melasses and slight old hops. Taste is very sweet with bitter smooth counterpoint. Actually smooth and nice. A bit off though.

This is pretty nice. Clear amber with a thin head. Fruit, caramel, malt. A nice smooth beer, rich flavour. Hits the spot.
