Optisch dunkles Kupfer, ordentlich Schaum.

Litre swing top bottle bought at the Landbierdealer in Hof. Amber color. Aroma of toffee and rancid butter. Diacetyl! Malty flavor with peach and the first signs of an upcoming sourness.Butter. Flowery hops in the aftertaste. This beer has potential, but is far from perfect.

(tap at the Brauhaus) Hazy, amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with bready notes, caramel and melanoidines. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready and doughy malt character with notes of caramel and slightly grassy hops towards the mildly sweet finish. Slightly above the common modern brewpub level in Germany. 07.II.18

On tap at the brewery, 13 August 2014. Slightly hazy copper in colour, with a frothy, off-white head and plenty of fizziness. A malty beer, with more cereal character than sweetness, ending with a decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery. Really malty and biscuit y. Tasty though. It has some digestive biscuit. I like it almost like a brown bitter.
