1l-bottle bought at the Landbierdealer in Hof. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice creamy head. Starts mild-malty, modest sweet, some hints of caramel. More and more dry, a bit boring-malty. But still okay and quite drinkable. Not bad!

Bardzo dobre smaczne i prawie rewelacyjne piwo. Jedno z lepszych kellerbier jakie piłem. Wspaniala nietypowa litrowa butelka i do tego z porcelanowa krachla. Piwo ma bardzo krotki termin przydatnosci. A butelka z tego mikro bowaru restauracyjnego jest kaucjonowana i wynosi az 12zl. Kolor bursztynowo-miedziany wielka piana, wystarczy odrobine wlac piwa a tworzy sie niesamowicie itrwale stoji. Polecam te nietuzinkowe wrazenia kazdemu.

Draught @ Kulmbacher Kommunbräu, Grünwehr 17, Kulmbach, Bavaria Germany 95326.Clear medium to light amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, malty, dusty malt, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120405]

bottle from Münchberg (2010). Clear amber-brown colour, large off-white head. Intensive malt falvours, fresh resiny hops in the finish. Good.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy dark amber colour. The flavour starts off roasted, turns a little sweet and nutty. Sourish finish.

Hazy amber with a medium beige head. Aroma had had toasted malt, caramel and hints of hops. Sweet flavour with toasted malt, caramel and vague hops. Finished sweet.

Hazy dark amber. Toasty, worty aroma with hints of chocolate. Kind of fizzy but lots of breadcrust. The carbonation genuinely gets in the way,but otherwise this has a nice dark malt character.

Vorwiegend herber Antrunk mit gedämpfter Malznote. Recht getreidig, wenig aromatisch. Die Malzigkeit bleibt versteckt. Frisch, etwas zu mild, ansonsten sind immerhin die Grundaromen gelungen. 10/8/9/9//8
