Crimson Keep is aged in bourbon barrels for one month deep within the Dragon’s Milk Cellar. The deep red color is evidence of being battle tested. A smooth, malt-forward flavor profile is highlighted by notes of toffee, stone fruits, and oak that lead to a pleasantly dry finish.

bottle. murky brown pour with a small khaki colored head that has fair retention. The aroma is light caramel, cherry and a trace of booze. The taste, like the aroma, is dominated by caramel, with cherries and a bit of smoky bourbon on the back end. The palate is full and viscous with soft carbonation. Finishes long with lingering sweet caramel. Overall: Decent, will drink again.

Pours clear dark amber with a small head. It has a caramel heavy aroma with oak and a little dark fruit. Sweet tasting and caramel rich, the bourbon is fairly mild.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear amber color with a finger of beige head that lingers. Toffee, caramel and oak aromas on the nose. Some vanilla and herbal hops with more toffee and oak. Palate is similar, barrel is there, but a balanced beer overall.

From Liquor Shed in Casper, bottled January 23rd 2023.

It pours a clear deep amber red with a great head of foam, long lasting, superb lacing.

The smell is Bourbon, lactose, sugar, some woody notes.

The taste is Bourbon, lactose, wood, dark pitted fruits. Alcohol hidden okay.

Mouthfeel is fine, a sipper, not as easy to sip on as others in the general abv range. It's weakest component, to me, is the taste. Not worthy of a repurchase.

Red brown with a large foamy tan head. Malty and toasty, a bit rough with fruity hops, whiskey and noticeable booziness. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

355ml bottle; bottled 23rd January 2023. Obtained from Total Wine & More, Laguna Hills. Poured into a Temecula Football Club pint sleeve at my daughters on 9th July 2023, while the Chicken Korma simmered in the background. Slight haze to the mahogany/teak red body, smooth beige head (but thin). Dark red berries and bourbon in the nose and taste, pretty sweet from the off. Interesting for me, I think I might like to try some more Bourbon Barrel Aged Reds as I am a big malt and boozy beers.

12 oz bottle. Pours a darker amber, clear, with an off-white head. Aroma has bourbon and malty caramel sweetness, red raisin. Flavor leads with oaky bourbon brown sugar, caramel maltiness, notes of the red raisin. Pretty much hits the nail on the head for what it's trying to be. Very enjoyable.
