Bottle 33 cl. BB 2033. Dark brown, hazy, coffee foam. Aroma: coffee, caramel and wine, roasted coffee, a drop of spicy Caribbean rum, esters and slightly spicy yeast with sourness. Taste: a bit sweet and sourness, coffee, yeast, caramel, a bit of dried fruits, like figs and dates, a little fortified wine, warming. Original brew.

Bottle from Bierothek, Bamberg. Hazy dark brown, thin, tan head. Aroma of liquorice, raisin, red apple, brown sugar, caramel, coffee, liqueur. Taste has sweet red apple, pear & raisin in a caramelly, slightly chocolatey malt body with a herbal liquorice note and a whiff of coffee. Herbal & earthy hoppy finish, lingering dried fruits and warming brandy-like alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, average carbonation. Decent effort and enjoyable, but the coffee could have been more pronounced.

33cl bottle. A almost black beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark caramelized malt, riped fruits raisins. Taste of strong dark caramelized malt, riped fruits, raisins, tobacco.

Bottle. Darkest brown, low offwhite cream. Preserved fruit, raisin, coffee, herbs. Medium full body, coffee dry on the palate, fairly broad hoppy play, herb - dill, mint, roast, wood, coffee. Interesting combination.

Bottle picked up and consumed at Bierkiste, München Sunday 28th May 2023 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours dirty brown with a tan head, coffee and a little mint, easier drinking than a 12.2% should be. A little tangy it's a nice beer.
